The United States Anti-Apartheid Movement : Local Activism in Global Politics

This timely study categorizes the anti-apartheid movement's activities, both governmental and nongovernmental, and systematically describes them. The author focuses her analysis on the various types of sanctions used to pressure the South African Government, and evaluates the potential and actual impact of these sanctions.
