Pursued by a Different World

Steve's poetry is a delightful and refreshing read. He reminds us that a poetic beauty thirsts for solitude away from loud minds with small hearts, away from gross egos with uncaring eyes and ears. His poems create visual images and rhythms that provide a glimpse of "something better...". Good poetry can feed the best of the human personality the way petunia waves feed a butterfly. If you've had a hectic day or week, then take some time for you. Under soft lights surrounded by beautiful and meaningful things, read to feel a better world interspersed with sound and light. I invite you to..."Watch with me the milky moon's duet with the morning star, the tender trills of a leaf's delicate descent, the delightful depths of a faithful kiss."
