In this third volume of his journals, the late British filmmaker writes about the two years in which he struggled to keep working despite having been diagnosed as HIV-positive. Mixing accounts of treatment with descriptions of his garden and memories of his childhood, Jarman reflects on life, sensuality, and nature. While these journals will be too obscure for some, those familiar with Jarman's work and those interested in contemporary gay life will find much of value here.
