Anatomies of Narrative Criticism : The Past, Present, and Futures of the Fourth Gospel as Literature

Scholars of religion mark the 25th anniversary of the publication of R. Alan Culpepper's Anatomy of the Fourth Gospel by both describing and contributing to the new era of Johannine scholarship that it ignited. He himself presents an essay on symbolism and history in John's account of Jesus' death.
