This biographical essay, originally published in French, looks at the contributions of Emma Jung, the wife of pioneering psychoanalyst C. G. Jung. Emma Jung was also a psychoanalyst, and this book considers her work with C. G. Jung and Freud and her role in establishing the field of analytical psychology. Drawing on correspondence and previous scholarship, the book also describes her career as a writer, her marriage and family, and personal joys, tragedies, and sacrifices.
