Alessandra Cantini, PhD, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at Politecnico di Milano, where she teaches the Innovation in Action Lab and Management of Logistics and Production Systems. She has also taught Supply Chain Management at the University of Florence. She holds two PhDs: one in Industrial Engineering from the University of Florence (UNIFI, Italy) and another in Production Management from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU, Norway). Her research interests include warehouse and inventory management, supply chain management, spare parts management, explainable artificial intelligence, and additive manufacturing. She has authored over 25 publications in international journals and conferences.

Mario Caterino, PhD is a Senior Assistant Professor at the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli, where he is lecturer of several courses for undergraduate and post-graduate students at the Department of Engineering. He is author of more than 60 international publications in Operations Management and Industrial Systems Engineering. He is a member of the editorial board of The International Journal on Interactive Design and Manufacturing.

Italo C. Fantozzi is a Researcher in Industrial Systems at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata" and Assistant Professor for the courses Industrial Plants and Production Management. He has been a visiting researcher at Lund University, Sweden, and is a member of the Think Tank Operations Excellence at "Tor Vergata". In addition, he regularly serves as a reviewer for multiple international journals.

Leonardo Leoni, PhD, Associate Professor of Mechanical Plants at the e-Campus University and Adjunct Professor of Supply Chain Management at the University of Florence. He is the author or co-author of more than 50 publications in international conferences and journals. His current research interests include operations management, supply chain management, and the safety, risk and reliability analysis of industrial equipment.

Francesco Mancusi holds a PhD in Engineering for Innovation and Sustainable Development and is currently a Researcher in Industrial Engineering at the University of Basilicata, Italy. His research focuses on human-robot collaboration in Industry 5.0, closed-loop supply chains and circular production systems, including recovery processes and operations. He has been a Visiting PhD at the University of Birmingham (UK) and a Visiting Researcher at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (Spain). He is also a consultant in project management and an expert in EU-funded research projects. He serves as a reviewer for several international journals.
