Product Description

This study analyzes the discourse of the Mbujimayi population on cholera in order to understand the persistent challenges of its prevention. This disease, which is both a health and development issue, requires investment in sanitation and access to drinking water to complement public health actions. The study aims to identify local perceptions, cultural practices and behaviors influencing the epidemic, in order to adapt the response. A better understanding of transmission contexts will help optimize prevention and control strategies to protect vulnerable populations.
