The present work gives current data on all aspects of the medical problem, from aetiology and pathology to financial aspects, medico-legal implications, and current nursing practices. It reviews the knowledge and techniques currently available to the clinician and focuses on evidence-based knowledge for prevention, treatment and assessment of pressure ulcers. Specific patient groups include the Spinal Cord Injured.
