Visit Spain

Between 1955 and 1965 Ramón Masats toured the geography of Spain with his camera. A commission on national values for an illustrated Gazette that allowed the development of a new, synthetic language, accurate in content and splendid in its graphics. Masats’ work coincides with the end of Franco’s the regime autarky and with the international opening designed by the Ministry of Education and Tourism. Visit Spain was that first message that tourist propaganda used. This catalogue allows us to take a look at that Spain from the perspective of one of the most decisive photographers in our country.
