The Teenage Workbook, first published in 1989, is the sequel of The Teenage
Textbook which was published a year earlier. Both were instant bestsellers.
Since then, the pair of novels have become recognised as popular
and classic titles in the canon of Singapore literature, appealing to
generations of Singaporen readers. Both books have sold close to a total
of 90,000 copies in regular reprints.
This edition completes the memorial set of The Teenage Workbook and
The Teenage Textbook issued after the early passing of one of Singapore’s
