Cold Water : Women and Girls of Lira, Uganda

Editors Jody Lynn McBrien and Julia Gentleman Byers present students, academics, and researchers with a collection of academic papers and scholarly articles focused on the experiences of women and girls living in Northern Uganda from 1987 to 2007. The editors have organized the contributions that make up the main body of the text in eleven chapters devoted to the dynamics of hope from an international perspective, the Lira district then and now, the Concerned Parents Association, the women of Lira, and a wide variety of other related subjects.
