Ethnicity and Social Work Practice

This volume offers a broad conceptual model of ethnic identity which enables social workers to practice effectively with clients of all ethnic and racial groups. The book addresses all areas of social work practice (individuals, families, groups and communities) and includes separate chapters on social services, health care and social planning and policy development. The text is intended for upper-level undergraduate and graduate level courses on ethnic diversity and practice with ethnic groups; as a supplement for courses on human behaviour in the social environment and for introductory social work practice courses.
