Having explored the place of natural law in Reformed theology from the 16th century to the present in a previous book, VanDrunen here looks at how natural law is rooted in Scripture while addressing many crucial questions of theology and ethics along the way. Among his topics are natural law under the covenant of creation and under the Noahic covenant, judgment on Sodom and justice in Gerar in Genesis 19-20, universal accountability before the impartial judgment of God in Romans 1:18-2:16, the Sinai covenant, the wisdom literature, and the natural moral order penultimized.
