In this book, author Karin Maag presents readers with a documentary case study of worship in John Calvins sixteenth century Geneva. The author relies heavily on primary sources to examine the practice of Christian worship as it was practiced between 1541 and 1564, Calvins contribution to the practice of Christian worship and the Reformation, and the worship of ordinary Genevans in a time of upheaval in the church.
