Community Disability Services : An Evidence-Based Approach to Practice

Community Disability Services is an edited text designed to be used by education providers delivering short and long courses to Disability Studies students and by current practitioners working in community disability services. In its primary role of promoting the development of a highly trained workforce in the modern community disability sector, it embraces three major themes: Disability and Modern Society, Working with individuals with a Disability, and Working in Disability Services. The book addresses the critical issues that affect people with disabilities and therefore staff and disability support organisations.
