Truman, a senior fellow at Peterson Institute since 2001, has studied sovereign wealth funds for over three years (almost as long as the term has been in existence). He provides background information followed by an overview of the current state of SWFs. Much of the discussion involves his SWF scoreboard, which assesses accountability and transparency of 53 SWFs of 37 countries.
