Reproductive Ageing (Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists Study Group)

Aiming to raise awareness about societal trends and implications of reproductive aging, for clinicians, healthcare workers, researchers, and the general public, Bewley, an obstetrician in the UK, et al. compile 36 chapters by a group of European and American gynecologists, obstetricians, and infertility, women's health, and other medical and non-medical specialists who participated in the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) Study Group and contribute papers and roundtable discussions on aging, trends in fertility, and demographics; the science of reproductive aging; pregnancy in the aging mother; outcomes of children born to older parents; future fertility screening, egg freezing, and assisted conception; contraception and sex for older couples; the role of the RCOG; fertility treatment; and managing expectations.
