This book presents design proposals by the studio of the ninth Yale Edward P. Bass Visiting Architecture Fellowship. Color photos, drawings, and illustrations throughout the book offer ideas on how to renovate and repurpose Amsterdams historical Marine Etablissement property to create a new district in the city. The plans and building proposals give ideas on using the space for schools, housing, infrastructure, and other public and private purposes. The book also includes interviews with designers, an essay on economic aspects of the plans, and an essay on collaboration between designers and developers. Distributed by W. W. Norton.
