This color-illustrated book highlights the work of ON-A, an architectural laboratory in Spain centered on reconnecting people with the natural environment through urban architecture. Each section begins with conversations between ON-As founders Eduardo Gutierrez and Jordi Fernandez, and this books editor Ricardo Devesa (School of Architecture of Barcelona), as they introduce concepts related to the architectural and urban planning projects profiled in the section. Examples of projects around the world include individual residences, high rises, parks, campuses, hotels, and entire neighborhoods. Several projects feature smart mesh or structural mesh.
