Spielräume des Entscheidens in den Prosaromanen Georg Wickrams : 'Der Goldtfaden' - 'Der jungen Knaben Spiegel' - 'Von guten und bösen Nachbaurn' (Literatur - Theorie - Geschichte)

This study examines Georg Wickram's prose novels from the perspective of decision theory. It reveals how the Early Modern author conceptualized the potentials and limits of the ability to change existing circumstances for better or worse by making decisions. He conveys norms of successful decision-making, reflecting on both the transcendental and social factors that limit decision-making power.
