§16§The book is written for the students encountering accounting as a subject for the first time. It attempts to relate theory to practice with regard to basic accounting concepts and standards. The authors have presented the concepts in a clear and systematic way and have simplified the matter to ensure better understanding of concepts. The topics are arranged in such a manner that there is gradual progression in the development of the skills.
