§16§Emergency situations may arise at any time, especially in the athletic setting. It is important to have emergency action plans in place to identify the role of various personnel and the procedures for each individual to follow as part of the emergency response. It is important to identify who will be part of the emergency response, to establish proper communication procedures before, during and after the response, and to ensure the presence of the proper emergency equipment. It is also important to complete the proper documentation and for adequate review of all policies and procedures.
