The book highlights that the encouragement of teachers, a large number of students are no longer meek victims of corporal punishment. Teachers' emotional intelligence, self-efficacy, self esteem, power to successfully get things done and achievement motivation are interconnected. It also considers such factors in terms of which teacher is able to be happy. Studies show that teachers with higher self-efficacy are often more self-aware than other. On the other hand, teachers with low self-esteem typically manage their emotions much like the self-confident group do. There is a close relationship between achievement motivation and emotional intelligence, particularly in areas like self-awareness and empathy.
