There Is a Path in Every Desert...

The land is so barren and endless it can make you dizzy. In every direction there is only the horizon. In a desert where even your own position feels uncertain, a path still exists.

A chance meeting on a pilgrimage route in Spain led the author to enter the desert ultramarathon. She had never run a marathon before, yet she trained for and completed 250 kilometers 〞 discovering gratitude, self-trust, the value of family, the courage to face challenges, and the humility and compassion that hardship reveals. The desert gave nothing, and yet it taught her everything.

※That day's farewell with Ken was not an ending, but a brief parting along the way. We were still heading toward the same horizon. In the desert, as in life, we sometimes walk together and sometimes apart. What matters is not keeping the same pace, but understanding each other's stride 〞 and trusting that we are still moving toward the same horizon.
