the long-awaited sequel to the best-selling SQ21 - Singapore Queers in the
21st Century (First edition 2006; Second edition 2017, Math Paper
Press).
SQ21 – Families documents the real-life stories of Singaporean LGBTQ+
people and their families. The book, comprising real-life stories of
Singaporeans with actual names and photographs, is made up of personal
stories of a lesbian mother & her straight adult son, two gay brothers, a
transman & his co-parent, a transwoman & her family of choice, gay
couples with & without children, a straight mother & her gay son, a
drag queen & her grandmother. The foreword to the book is written by Constance
Singam, a writer and past president of AWARE.
