Walking with the Light : From Frankfurt to Finchley -- Hardback

My idea had never been simply to walk along the Rhine with the dog as if the two of us were on some rambling adventure a deux. I wanted to engage not only with the Jewish past but with its present, and with Christian and Muslim communities as well. The essential issue was light, political as well as spiritual: where did the light reside?
