For Our Freedom and Yours : Jewish Labour Bund in Poland 1939-1949

The Jewish Labour Bund came into existence as an alternative or parallel response to anti-Semitism. The Zionists wanted a separate Jewish state and the Bundists wanted social integration. The Bund began in the 1880s and this study examines the organization in Eastern Europe up to 1949.
