Nineteen Australian academics and researchers from the fields of philosophy, cultural and gender studies, education, social work, sociology, and literary studies contribute 17 essays on the nature of racialized conditions and their role in reproducing colonizing relations. With its focus on Australia, the book offers different approaches to whiteness from the American and British literature in that the majority of the papers engage with relations between migration, Indigenous dispossession, and whiteness.
