Early Childhood Education : Policy Issues for the 1990s

This book provides an accurate and current overview of the most salient early childhood policy issues. Written by individuals who are involved in the legislation (one contribution comes from the former governor of Arkansas and now President Bill Clinton), implementation and evaluation of policy for young children and their families, it contains three parts: a section on policy issues, and a section on public school early childhood programs and policy for both regular and special needs preschoolers.
