Clemax Couto Sant'Anna is Emeritus Professor of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro/ UFRJ)- Brazil. Graduated in Medicine (1974), Master s degree in Physiology and Pulmonology and PhD in Medicine (Infectious and Parasitic Diseases (1994) from UFRJ. Permanent professor of the postgraduate programs in Clinical Medicine, Infectious and Parasitic Diseases at UFRJ and the Postgraduate Program in Maternal and Child Health, and collaborator in the Professional Master's Degree in Maternal and Child Health at the Fluminense Federal University (UFF). Specialist in Pediatric Pulmonology (1995) by the Brazilian Society of Pediatrics (SBP). Title of Specialist in Pediatrics (2019) by the Brazilian Society of Pediatrics. Member of the Technical Advisory Committee on Tuberculosis of the Ministry of Health - Brazil and of the Child and Adolescent TB Working Group / Stop TB Partnership / World Health Organization. He coordinated and edited 7 books on Childhood Tuberculosis. Emeritus Member of REDE TB (Rede de pesquisas em tuberculose) since 2020. President of the X Brazilian Congress of Pediatric Pulmonology (Rio de Janeiro, 2004). Editor of Residência Pediátrica journal (ISSN-Online: 2236-6814). Research Productivity Scholarship level 1B from CNPq (National Council of Research and Technology - Brazil).

Maria de Fatima Sant'Anna is Full Professor of Pediatrics at the Fluminense Federal University and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She holds a PhD in Medicine (Infectious and Parasitic Diseases) from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2000) and Master's degree in Pediatrics at the Federal Fluminense University (1991). Specialization in Pediatric Pulmonology at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She is currently member of the Respiratory Diseases Committee of the Pediatrics Society of the State of Rio de Janeiro and of the Scientific Department of Pulmonology of the Brazilian Society of Pediatrics (Sociedade Brasileira de Pediatria). She holds the title of Pediatric Pulmonology from the Brazilian Society of Pediatrics. Has experience in Medicine with pediatric training and an emphasis on Pediatric pulmonology. She participates as a permanent professor in the Professional Master's Program in Maternal and Child Health at the Federal Fluminense University and in the Master's Program in Pediatrics at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
