The book aims to focus on the Inter-American Court of Human Rights and its transformative impact, in light of structural and emerging regional challenges. The first part of the book will be dedicated to studying the transformative mandate of the Inter-American Court, highlighting the Ius Constitutionale Commune in Latin America (ICCAL), institutional resilience, and the community of practice. The second part will address the Inter-American Court in the face of structural regional challenges, emphasizing the collapse of dictatorships, transitional justice, democratic institutionalism, the fight against inequalities, and historical discriminations, with a focus on vulnerabilities and intersectionalities. Finally, the third part will analyze the Inter-American Court in light of emerging regional challenges, encompassing the themes of business and human rights, climate emergency, and new technologies.
