Promoting Islamic religious communication in German requires extremely precise knowledge of this kind of communication and language. This can strengthen current discourse about language training for Imams in terms of specialist language and make it more specific to the profession. This volume therefore examines the sermon and its diverse functions as one of the central text types in this area as well as the semantic features of its vocabulary.
