The series' objective is to publish original studies on a range of facets and dimensions of Islamic mysticism, such as its doctrines, its metaphysical theories, and cosmologies. In addition to innovative research monographs, the series publishes edited volumes, translations of important Sufi texts accompanied by scholarly introductions and commentary, as well as reference works.
