§16§Clinical governance is a quality system used in the National Health Service to ensure patients receive high quality care. This study evaluates the implementation of clinical governance in mental health trusts. It has two cycles: the first (2002) focuses on clinical governance structures and strategy; the second, in response to the findings of the first, focuses on how managers enable front-line staff.
