Regional aspects of gender equality : Problems and prospects

This paper examines the peculiarities of gender equality in Kazakhstan, as well as mechanisms of women's political participation. Gender policy is aimed at achieving equality between men and women in all spheres of society. Gender policy is one of the most important directions of social modernization of society, as the creation of equal opportunities is an important component in ensuring the active participation of women in the political, economic and social life of Kazakhstan.
