Stonepicker & the Book of Mirrors

The award-winning poet and daughter of Ted Hughes and Sylvia Plath presents a volume of uncharacteristically intimate pieces that incorporate imaginative language, lilting rhythms, and the surreal imagery of a dark and menacing nursery rhyme, in a collection that explores such subjects as her youth and parents to her animal friends and a series of imaginary characters whose behaviors reflect less-virtuous aspects of humanity.
