Vascular Endothelium (NATO Science Series A: Life Sciences)

The focus of the June 1990 workshop (the second in as many years on endothelial biology): diseases, such as atherosclerosis, sepsis, ARDS, and stroke, based on their relevance to endothelial cell function and the need for new insights into their pathogenesis and treatment. Also examined in 22 papers and numerous short oral and poster communications (abstracted in these proceedings) are endothelial cell functions, with consideration of their relevance to disease and their potential for elucidating important pathologies.
