La Tour Dreams of the Wolf Girl

Fleeing her failing marriage, art history professor Suzanne Nelson seeks refuge in her imagination and in the enigmatic work and the world of sixteenth-century painter Georges de La Tour as she invents the artist's final painting sessions with a young model who possesses a thatch of wolflike hair growing across her back.
