Living in the Future : The Education and Adventures of an Advanced Aircraft Designer

A memoir of the author's growing up in the 50's and 60's as the son of a Navy Test Pilot, discovering his own love of aviation, and entering the rarefied club of those who stare at a blank sheet of paper and turn it into a new aircraft or spacecraft design. It covers his involvement in the projects that became the B-2, F-22, T-45, F-35, and more.
