Comptes Rendus of Observation and Reasoning

John Young Buchanan (1844–1925) was a Scottish chemist and oceanographer who worked extensively on the chemistry of marine environments. Originally published in 1917, this book gathers together a selection of Buchanan's papers on a broad variety of topics, some of them non-scientific.
