The book begins with simple nonlinear dynamics, like the logistic map, and ends with nonlinear networks, like Cellular Nonlinear Networks. After discussing various examples, by using the essential concepts of bifurcation analysis, a set of laboratory experiences are proposed. This approach helps to build simple circuits and to achieve complex networks. The aim is to give to the readers a complete view of the main concepts of nonlinear dynamics finalized in order to understand complex systems and their control by using electronics devices. Numerical examples and homework problems with solutions are also included to enforce the material discussed. Moreover, the readers will be able to implement all the circuits and experiments proposed and could be stimulated to design new ones.
