The Martin Archives Scrapbook

Through images, documents, and reproduced artifacts, this scrapbook illustrates the history of acoustic guitar maker C.F. Martin & Co. from 1833 to the present. It includes 20 removable facsimile items like old company records, letters from musicians, antique instrument tags and catalogs, and a handwritten history of the company by Frank Henry Martin. Washburn writes about music, popular culture, and musical instruments, and Boak manages the museum and archives and special projects for the Martin Guitar Company.
