The Tyranny of Friendship

Two boys become close friends at school. One is shy but gifted musically, the other more extrovert protects and promotes his friend. In adulthood when one is in a successful rock band and the other is planning a business venture they conceal a serious crime that will divide and define their lives, one to a fulfilling self-exile in California, the other to disillusionment, family break-up and a humdrum existence. Thirty years later a meeting for the one still in their hometown triggers disturbing memories but the women in their lives bring them back together to face the past.
