Moriarty the Patriot, Vol. 18 (Moriarty the Patriot)

The untold story of Sherlock Holmes’ greatest rival, Moriarty! Before he was Sherlock’s rival, Moriarty fought against the unfair class caste system in London by making sure corrupt nobility got their comeuppance. But even the most well-intentioned plans can spin out of control—will Moriarty’s dream of a more just and equal world turn him into a hero…or a monster? Sherlock receives orders from the United States government to capture a group of vicious land sharks who have been coercing poor landowners into giving up their property. Billy insists on accompanying Sherlock when he realizes that he and the leader of these ruthless outlaws have a history. Meanwhile, William is wandering the streets of New York trying to find the best way to atone for his crimes when he bumps into a young girl who may have just the answer he’s been looking for.
