The COVID Information Commons : Research Insights from the Coronavirus (Sustainable Development Goals Series)

This book provides pertinent insights from COVID-19 researchers funded by the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) and National Institutes of Health (NIH) which are highlighted in the NSF-funded COVID Information Commons (CIC). The CIC is a comprehensive portal with 14,000 coronavirus research grants and resources which have been leveraged by a collaborative community of over 10,000 individual researchers, professionals and students who share knowledge and insights to mitigate the broad impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. The research insights range from scientific to societal impacts of the coronavirus across the domains of biology, public health, human behavior, education and public mobility. The 95 authors across the 24 chapters in this book share learnings from their coronavirus research to inform future pandemic prevention and mitigation opportunities globally.
