This book presents her contemplations on light in its many forms - discussing the interplay of clay, textiles and natural light as well as the philosophical concepts of light and hope. Heringer's reflections as one of the pioneers of sustainable architecture are accompanied here by her work with the women of Dipdii Textiles, whose embroidered sari blankets serve as a common thread throughout the book.
