This volume contains selected works of Peter Herrmann, one of the most eminent scholars of epigraphy in the 20th century. Some of the contributions are now accessible to a wider readership for the first time. The contributions show the range of Herrmann's research interests: the Asia Minor, and especially the inscriptions of Lydia and Miletus, which give us insight into all aspects of Greek-Roman life.
