The book embraces three chapters. Chapter One is dedicated to the application of justice. Chapter Two is dedicated to justice of the Jury. Chapter Three is dedicated to the administration of justice. In these novels, Christie explores two concepts for justice: legal justice and moral justice.Legal justice is executed by the state, but moral justice is executed by individuals. Christie condemns legal justice as it fails to function properly, whereas she commends moral justice as it make people satisfied, content and relieved.Christie's novels show her a moral justice-minded writer.
