This book discusses current and essential issues regarding: URBAN MOBILITY, ROAD SAFETY and ANALYSIS, MODELING AND SIMULATION OF TRAFFIC FLOWS IN PETROSANI REGARDING OPTIMIZING URBAN MOBILITY AND ENSURING ROAD SAFETY.Rapid urbanization and motorization have intensified traffic congestion and heightened road safety risks in cities worldwide. Effective traffic flow management has therefore become a critical component of sustainable urban mobility and accident prevention. This study addresses urban mobility and road safety in Petro ani City through the analysis, modeling, and simulation of traffic flows. By evaluating current traffic conditions and identifying critical congestion and safety issues, the research applies simulation-based methods to assess alternative traffic management scenarios. The results support data-driven strategies aimed at optimizing urban mobility, reducing congestion, and improving overall road safety within the city.
