To Survive Sobibor

At the Eichmann trial in Jerusalem in 1961, Freiberg bore witness as one of the few survivors of the Sobibor Nazi death camp. He chronicles his life from prewar Poland through internment in the Lodz and Warsaw ghettos and Sobibor, to his immigration to pre- state Israel aboard the deemed illegal Exodus ship in 1947.
